THE PAST TEACHING AND COACHING TEAM OF THE WASPS

This page is dedicated to the Teachers and Coaches who help to run our sessions and give up many hours of their time to help to improve and develop our young up and coming future athletes. It also gives brief details of our quality teaching and coaching programme.

 Warley WASPS Teaching Team

Our voluntary teaching staff have been assembled to provide a quality service, delivering the ASA’s Learn To Swim Pathway to our and SwimMark’s (former Swim21) expected high standard. Each section of our Learn to Swim Pathway (LTSP) has its own dedicated teacher as well as a minimum of one assistant teacher, helping to  provide the necessary tuition, thus allowing the necessary skills to be obtained by our swimmers.

Further to the above we have the following pool assistants and additional teachers:

  • Emma Pike

Warley WASPS Coaching Team

The coaching staff have been carefully put together, again, with the best interest of the swimmers at heart. The club runs a yearly competitive programme, broken down into 3 cycles, providing the necessary training for all of the major competitions. All coaches are dedicated and have many years of coaching swimmers from Club standard through to National standard. Each session has additional help through the use of our lane coaches, thus providing the means for our swimmers to continue their development and progress.

Further to the above we have the following poolside helpers and additional coaches:

  • Rebecca Cartwright

If you are looking for a swimming club which provides a quality service, which looks to invest in its swimmers, teachers and coaches then Warley WASPS is the club for you. All of our poolside staff are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service, formerly CRB) checked, in line with Swim England regulations.

‘Whatever the standard, we can and will provide!’
